Ben Canales is a photographer that I have recently discovered (through stumbleupon of all places!). He mostly does single exposure star shots that include both star trails and still stars. I absolutely love his photos and am really interested in astrophotography. Here is his flickr and he even has a couple tutorials for beginners.

I always love underwater shots and how the light filters through everything! I found this through tumblr.photojojo.com They post some really interesting photographers sometimes and their store is amazingly cute.

A photo of a map taken through a water droplet. I love photos like this because I've played with water droplets and know how hard it is to shoot. So shooting the water so you can see something in it perfectly must take a lot of practice and patience.

He makes these paint sounds sculptures by putting a rubber cover over a speaker then carefully putting paint drops on top of one another. He then turns on the music and the paint dances :) You can see a video of how he does this and his camera contraption he uses to shoot it all here.

I'm about to post all about lights and colors...

It's not so much the photo that I liked, but more the concept. There's a group on flickr that has roomba art. Which is when someone sets up their camera for a long exposure and attaches a light to their roomba and let's it go! I just think the idea is so awesome.
The same person also created this photo:
I believe he did this just attaching a light pen above the camera and letting it hang freely. I've learned about this kind of thing before and have been interested in trying it.
And lastly, because it's almost halloween and because I wish I could do light painting (which I seem to fail at every time) :
by jannepaint who does a ton of light painting!
